Never before had we seen an octocoral with this kind of ULTRA ORANGE glow! It is a sensational variety of Clavularia which appreciates access to decent light and flow. New polyps will grow out nearby the original piece via runners. It is easier to remove unwated growth than other kinds of "matting" soft corals. Clavularia is also called "Palm Tree Coral" due to the tubular polyp shape arrangement with large tentacles arranged much like the fronds of a palm tree.
